Size matters very much when grouping more than one dragon.  I cannot impress enough the problems and tragedies that can occur if this rule is not
followed.

Whether they be related or unrelated they should only be housed according to size similarities!

Bearded Dragons (Pogona Vitticeps) do not have familial bonds.  They don't look at one another and say "oh there is my brother/sister" or "hey mom
and dad!"

To put it in very simple terms.  In the bearded dragon world anything bigger is a predator and anything smaller is food.

Even if the larger dragon isn't big enough to eat the smaller dragon... It will certainly give it the old college try causing horrendous injury and/or death
due to injury.

I have heard many times from people that they don't want to separate their dragons because "they will miss the other one" or "they are siblings" or "they
get along so well and I never see any fighting" or "They are
so bonded they wouldn't be able to function without each other" - Dragons do not think this
way.

You will rarely see fighting in that instance.  The smaller one would be a fool to even entertain the idea.  Just one day out of the blue... Without any
warning the larger one will snap up the smaller one.

It is a sight you won't soon forget... I promise you that.  So please group your dragons according to size.

Other things that will happen is the smaller one will fail to thrive, become ill, perhaps emaciate - which will only make the problem greater as the larger
one will continue to grow and the smaller one will lose weight and become smaller.

If you are housing more than one dragon and they are of different sizes, please don't wait for a tragedy... Separate them now.  Size
does matter.
