We are so thrilled with our first set of bearded dragon twins that hatched out today! :)
Lucy (Leucistic) and Dakota (Leucistic Het) are the proud parents.
Ironically enough... This is Lucy's 2nd clutch ever - Lucy and Dakota's last clutch that hatched in the beginning of June also had a set of twins
that didnt make it. After a period of time and this one egg still hadnt hatched... and it looked like it was dying... I opened it and there was a set
of twins (identical, not conjoined) inside but they had passed away (my guess) about a few weeks earlier :(
Its just really amazing that two out of two clutches Lucy and Dakota had a set of twins! I'm am so excited and look forward to seeing what other
little surprises Lucy and Dakota bring us. We will be separating the twins from their siblings in the next day or so. They are almost 1/2 the size
of their siblings. The twins are 100% Het Leucistic.
Below you will see some pictures of the twins with a leucistic sibling born the same day. You can see the size difference. You can also see
Leucistic babies are noticably lighter right out of the egg.
